But if you’re part of that (pretty unlucky) group, know this: “Irregular bleeding can have different implications depending on age, medical history, and family history,” says Dr Alyssa Dweck, a gynae and author of The Complete A to Z for Your V. “So it’s important to seek ob-gyn guidance if you have persistent, recurrent, or worrisome bleeding habits.”
